Project Scope

CSEA Local 602, a devoted union representing University at Buffalo workers, recognized the importance of establishing a robust online platform to connect with its members. The objective of this project was to create a brand-new website from scratch, tailored to the needs of the union, to enhance member engagement and communication.

Scope of Work

  1. Website Design and Development: Collaborated with CSEA Local 602 to design and develop a custom website that aligns with the union’s identity and objectives. Created a visually appealing and user-friendly design to ensure an intuitive browsing experience.
  2. Membership Resources and Information: Built dedicated sections to provide members with essential resources, including collective bargaining agreements, union news, and updates. Organized information for easy access, enabling members to stay informed about union activities.
  3. Interactive Events Calendar: Integrated an interactive calendar to showcase union meetings, events, and important dates. Implemented user-friendly features for members to register for events and receive event-related notifications.
  4. Direct Communication Channels: Developed a contact form to facilitate direct communication between members and union representatives. Enabled integration with relevant social media platforms to foster real-time engagement and updates.
  5. Transparency in Leadership: Created a section to introduce the union’s leadership team, allowing members to get acquainted with their representatives. Provided information about upcoming elections, leadership roles, and decision-making processes.
  6. Document Repository and Archive: Designed a document repository to store and organize essential union documents, forms, and historical records. Ensured easy access to meeting minutes, reports, and other important materials.
  7. Mobile Compatibility and Accessibility: Ensured the website is fully accessible, adhering to web accessibility standards, and providing equal access to all members across devices.
